Gira E2

Minimalist design, durable materials

The Gira E2 architect design line is designed especially for high-end single-family homes and other modern buildings. With its minimalist, timeless look, it fits a wide range of furnishing styles, past, present, and future. Available in shatter-proof, UV-resistant thermoplastic in pure white matt, pure white glossy, aluminium, grey matt (a new addition), anthracite, on-trend colour black matt and high-quality stainless steel. Over 300 functions from the Gira System 55 allow buildings to be fitted in a consistent design while the colour versions distinguish between different areas.

E2 flat installation

As a further design option, all versions of the Gira E2 design line can also be installed such that they protrude just 3.4 mm from the wall. Suitable devices and flush-mounted sockets are available as accessories.

E2 normal installation

The original. The clean aesthetics, the simplified design and the exclusive colour scheme of the popular Gira E2 design line fits perfectly into a wide range of furnishing styles – both private and business.

E2 surface-mounted version

The surface-mounted solution in pure white glossy is a new addition to the Gira E2 design line. It bridges the gap for retrofitting, so it can be installed anywhere where no lines or flush-mounted boxes have been installed in advance.

E2 water-protected to IP 44

Gira E2 is a design line for flush-mounted installation in dry rooms in accordance with IP 20. However, switches, buttons and SCHUKO socket outlets with hinged covers included in the range can also be installed in moisture-prone areas with IP 44 water protection through the use of special seal sets.

Gira lighting element for surface-mounted housing

The lighting element for the surface-mounted housing from Gira can be used as an orientation light and features a continuously illuminated light element and two LEDs in white. It simply slides into the surface-mounted housing in place of the dummy slider and is available in pure white glossy, cream white glossy, and black matt.

A simple, fast and clean exchange.

In general, switches and socket outlets etc. can be exchanged very easily. If you have already installed frames from a design line belonging to Gira System 55, it is especially easy – all frames from the Gira Standard 55, E2, E3, Event, Esprit and Classix ranges are compatible with one another. Simply exchange the frames – the existing inserts can continue to be used. This is a simple way to lend the room new accents in terms of colour and physical appearance.

New diversity

The extended range of the Gira E2 design line enables buildings to be fitted out in a uniform design, while at the same time varying colour choices and quality ratings. Stainless steel with a cool-silver satin finish is not only highly aesthetic, but also rust-free, weather and heat-resistant. The shatter-proof, UV-resistant, easy-care thermoplastic versions come in colours on a neutral grey scale ranging from pure white matt, pure white glossy, grey matt and aluminium to anthracite and black matt. They thus blend in with the most varied architectural styles and can be combined perfectly with the stainless steel versions of Gira E2.

Gira Sensotec LED

Finding your way safely in the dark and switching on the room light if needed with a single contactless motion: the Gira Sensotec LED unites these functions in a single device. The Gira Sensotec LED is a contactless switch with integrated LED orientation light. When motion is detected, it switches on the orientation light. If more light is needed, the user can switch on the lighting with a single contactless motion from a distance of 5 cm.

Gira eNet Funk Wandsender

Gira eNet ist das bidirektionale Funksys­tem für die smarte Vernetzung der Gebäudetechnik: So lassen sich Licht, Jalousien und Szenen einfach per Funk steuern. Gira surface-mounted video home station Plus

The front of the surface-mounted home station video Plus is homogeneous: the 5.6 cm (2.2") TFT colour display is flush with the capacitive sensor buttons of the control panel. The user simply needs to gently touch the appropriate symbol. In order to ensure greater operational reliability, internal calls and switching actions can be assigned individual names. The speakerphone function offers excellent voice quality, even if the speaker is not standing directly in front of the microphone.

Gira touch sensor 3 Plus

The Gira touch sensor 3 Plus guarantees a particularly high level of convenience when operating numerous KNX functions. In addition to an integrated temperature sensor to measure the local temperature, it also features a controller for direct room temperature control. An external temperature sensor can also be connected if desired. The graphic display clearly shows temperature values, controller status, and messages from the KNX system.

Gira SCHUKO socket outlet with

The Gira SCHUKO socket outlet with LED orientation light has a recessed light strip that projects a light corridor downwards by means of a white LED. This provides glare-free, indirect orientation lighting. The Gira socket outlet with LED orientation light also features a twilight sensor that automatically turns on the light when darkness sets in and switches it off again when there is enough natural light.

Gira RDS flush-mounted radio

The Gira RDS flush-mounted radio simply sits in the wall – just like your light switches and socket outlets. This does away with the need for annoying cables, and work surfaces and counters can be kept free. The Gira RDS flush-mounted radio is characterised by its pure sound and it also supports the processing of stereo signals. When paired with a Gira docking station (installed separately), external music sources can be connected to the Gira flush-mounted RDS radio via Bluetooth.

Gira System 3000 Display blind timer

Touch-sensitive buttons and a high-contrast illuminated display make operating the Gira System 3000 Display blind timer easier than ever before. In addition to manual operation, the current time can be saved to programme the movement times for all seven days. Alternatively, the settings can be customised separately for specific days via the menu. The changeover between summer and winter time is carried out automatically.

The functions switch, button, and SCHUKO socket outlets with hinged covers can also be installed in moisture-prone areas in accordance with the IP44 water protection rating through the use of special seal sets.
