Suitable for all system sizes

Thanks to its modular system design, the Gira nurse call system 834 Plus is suitable both for small facilities with just a few rooms and for large facilities with several residential units or wards. Depending on the size of the system to be installed, a higher-level system central control unit is used for this purpose.

Compact installations with only a few rooms, such as a medical practice or a small treatment centre, can be performed without a system central control unit. In this case, a central ward control unit assumes the full functionality of the system central control unit with the exception of the add-on options for DECT telephone systems, VoIP systems, fire alarm centres or electrical speaker systems.

The system central control unit Plus is the higher-level control unit for the Gira nurse call system 834 Plus in large systems. It connects to the central ward control units via an Ethernet line. As an option, the system central control unit Plus can be extended to include various software modules. This means that DECT telephone systems, VoIP systems, fire alarm centres and electrical speaker systems can be integrated into the system.

On a ward or in smaller facilities, the Gira nurse call system 834 Plus is managed via the central ward control unit Plus. It links all devices that are connected via the ward bus or the room bus to the system bus (834 Plus LAN). Up to 26 wards can be connected via the system central control unit Plus.
